Accessibility
Last updated 2026-08-12. We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and treat gaps as defects, not feature requests.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a skip-to-content link
- Keyboard operability for every interactive element, including the navigation, accordions and calculator
- Visible focus indicators that meet contrast requirements
- Text and interface contrast tested against 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and controls
- Labels tied to every form field, with errors announced in text rather than colour alone
- Reduced-motion support that disables animation for visitors who request it
- Responsive layouts that work at 320px width and at 200% zoom
Standards we target
WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is the reference standard for the AODA in Ontario, provincial accessibility legislation elsewhere in Canada, and ADA Title III expectations in the United States.
Known limitations
The embedded map on location pages is a third-party Google component whose accessibility we do not control. Every fact shown on the map — city, service area, contact details — is also available as text on the same page.
