Dual Pricing & Surcharging

Zero-fee processing, done so it actually holds up

Moving card cost off your margin is legitimate and common. Doing it wrong gets you fined, and plenty of providers sell the wrong version.

What you get

  • Dual pricing with both prices posted at the shelf and on the receipt
  • Cash discount programs where surcharging is prohibited
  • Surcharge programs within card-brand caps
  • Card-brand registration handled where required
  • Compliant signage supplied for your locations

Legal by jurisdiction

Massachusetts, Connecticut and Puerto Rico prohibit surcharging. New York requires the total card price be posted. Quebec has its own consumer rules. We build to your jurisdiction, not a national template.

Debit stays clean

Surcharging debit is prohibited. Programs that quietly surcharge debit are the fastest route to a fine — ours do not.

Registration handled

Where card brands require advance notice, we file it.

Signage included

Compliant point-of-entry and point-of-sale signage supplied and reviewed.

How we price it

Quoted from your statement, not from a rate card

We do not publish a single rate for dual pricing & surcharging because a single rate would be a guess. Your cost depends on card mix, average ticket, monthly volume, how much of it is keyed or online, and your industry's risk profile.

Send one statement. Inside 4 hours you get your real effective rate, every fee named, and a quote you can compare line by line against what you pay now.

No-nonsense promise
  • No long-term contract and no cancellation penalty
  • No PCI fee and no non-compliance fee
  • No statement fee, no monthly minimum
  • Documented exit fees from your old processor covered to $1,000
  • A named expert, reachable by phone
Common questions

Dual Pricing & Surcharging, answered

Compliant dual pricing and cash discount programs are legal across the US and most of Canada, subject to card-brand rules and local law. Surcharging specifically is prohibited in a few states and restricted in Quebec. The structure has to match your jurisdiction.

No. Card-brand rules prohibit surcharging debit, including Interac in Canada. Any program that does this is exposing you to fines.

Some notice. Most do not, when the signage is clear and the cash price is posted alongside. Merchants who run it properly typically see under 2% of customers comment on it.

Every fee named in 4 hours. Or call now and we quote you on the spot.

Everyone else in this industry says twenty-four hours. We say four — and if that is still too slow, pick up the phone and get your numbers while you are on the call. No contract, nothing to cancel, no pressure.
